This summer, BlueLobster returns to the Pierre Boulez Saal for our second collaboration - and this one moves outdoors. Following our Journey to Softness evening in April, we're thrilled to bring the community to the Waldbühne for a concert under the stars.
The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra takes the stage under the open sky, led by Daniel Barenboim with the extraordinary Yo-Yo Ma as soloist. An evening of Dvořák and Schumann, and that particular magic that only the Waldbühne can offer.
About the Orchestra Founded by conductor Daniel Barenboim and scholar Edward Said, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra brings together young musicians from across the Middle East and Israel. More than an ensemble, it is a living statement - that music can be a space for dialogue, coexistence, and shared humanity.
The Musicians Daniel Barenboim — Conductor Yo-Yo Ma — Cello
The Program Antonín Dvořák — Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104 Robert Schumann — Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 97 "Rhenish"
The Venue The Waldbühne is Berlin's beloved open-air amphitheatre and one of Berlin's most atmospheric concert venues.
BlueLobster members get access to discounted tickets at €20 through an exclusive code. Tickets must be claimed by June 30, 2026.
